Your instructors are Itoro Liney and Wisdom Umoren. Between us we have over 25 years experience in Data and Analytics, including, Business Intelligence, Data Science, Data Engineering, Data Analytics, and Data Ethics. We are developing a curriculum to share our knowledge of Data with you.
Whether you want to get better at your job, or you are a business owner and need help tracking and understanding the numbers, or you want to break into Data and Analytics, or you are a parent who wants to give your teenager or young adult a head start in life, we have everything you need to get you started on the journey and we will be with you every step of the way.
Itoro has over 15 years experience in Data and Analytics. She is a Software Engineering Manager in a Tech company in the UK. She was previously a Data Science & Analytics Manager in the UK financial services sector. Her current role involves managing a team of data scientists, machine learning engineers, software engineers, and data engineers. She is also carrying out PhD research on machine learning ethics, specifically bias and fairness. Her research aims to understand why algorithms display discriminatory behavior and what we can do to remedy it.
She is also a teaching assistant for undergraduate and post graduate level courses at King’s College London. She has taught courses in Data Mining, Python, and Artificial Intelligence Reasoning
